Purposes

The main purpose of this module is to enable the user to manage the Unit of all items and to configure related information of the unit.

Navigation Path

Path: Masters > Item Unit > Item UOM

Listing Screen

View list of all the units that were previously added by the user. Users will have an option to add and update the Units. Users will be able to search the Item UOM using the filter option that is provided on the list.

Add New Unit: To add Unit, click on the below button

Add/Edit Unit

  • Users will be able to Add/Update an Item UOM from this page
  • The user needs to fill in the Item UOM information to add/edit the Units in the system.

Fields available in the Add/Edit Item UOM Form

  1. Item UOM Name (Required field): This is for specifying the name of the Item UOM. For example, by considering the product type lubricants add the unit name as the “liter”.
  2. ISO Code: This is for specifying the Code for the Item UOM.
  3. Abbreviation (Required): Specify the specific units used to measure the quantity of an item. E.g.: kg, pcs, Itr..etc.,
  4. Unit Type: Choose the unit type such as weight, volume, etc.,
  5. Status (Required field): Set the status of the Unit as, Active/Inactive using the dropdown list
